Circular Music wants to help you flex all those new iPod Touchs' that Santy Claus brought you!
Since I am sure that you were all good little boys and girls this past year, I just know everyone got new devices to listen to the musics on, I thought I would repost each episode of the Circular Music podcast!
And since the Circular Music feed has been chopped up a few times this year, back office stuff, no need to worry, I decided to post each episode, compressed for easy downloads, with the sort of famous logo and the play list embedded on each episode. That way you won't have to worry so much about what the hey I was mumbling about when you were trying to figure out which life altering group just, uh altered your life!?!
I will post the first 15 or so first? I would delete every one you have now, if you are subscribed through iTunes. And re-download these wonderful looks back into the not so distant past. You can as always, just click on the title of each episode and stream it right here!
I hope you enjoy them. I know I did/do...

Because of Heller
Please take time out of your day to perform an act of kindness in honor of our friend Hayley's amazing kid Heller. He was taken away far too early.
I rarely throw around superlatives when it comes to children, but Heller was that kid. He was a big, bright, sweet kid. I only knew him for a brief time but, I was always a...mazed by his intelligence. Invariably after Yana and I would hang out with Hayley and Heller, I would always forget I was talking to a child!
For parents who have children, take a moment to tell them you love them today. And pass on this note (and kindness) to everyone today. For the rest of us, just be a little nicer to someone today. And call your parents!
Please visit the page set up to honor Heller

Some pretty dang cheap MP3 albums on Amazon!
I was goofing around on Amazon looking for a few albums to download when I ran across a few really good deals. These album downloads are DRM free and luscious 256kb mp3 files! Now at these kar-razy prices, I am not going to bother to post album art here, but you will get it with the downloads from Amazon by clicking on the linked titles below...
There is Neko Case's new one Middle Cyclone for $1.99!
Regina Spektor's new album Far for $5.00
Xx's new album Xx for $7.99
Metric's most excellent newest album Fantasies for $5.99!
LaRoux's self titled debut for $5.99!
There were also albums by Thievery Corporation, Cut Copy, Ladytron and the bird & the bee for $6.99, I know crazy right?
Oh yeah, and I still have a few things for sale here as well.
I post these because I care about you...

Ron van der Ende
From time to time I like to showcase art I find interesting, it can't always be muzak, ya know...
So this artist, Ron van der Ende is from the The Netherlands. He is not only from the Netherlands, he is in The Netherlands and he makes these amazing sculptures from found wood! They are basically flat pieces made to show depth, and details. Read his explanation and enjoy!
To see his work, click on the comprooter pic below...

Elvis Perkins acoustic set at Park Ave CDs

My friend Maria and I went to see Elvis Perkins do an acoustic set at Park Ave Cd's on Sunday. She saw them perform the night before. I had not heard of him, but who doesn't have a few minutes for a free in store performance?
He played guitar and was backed by his band on tambourine and water bottle, and harmony. It was quiet and engaging! I managed to pick up their latest album, which I had them scribble on. They of course were very happy to see someone buying vinyl. In my opinion, they are exactly the kind of band that should be listened to on vinyl!
And I scored the 7 inch picture disc of the Metric single "Help, I'm Alive"! It was ten bucks + shipping on Metric's site, but "only" 6.98 in store...
You can check out Elvis Perkins here.
Park Avenue CD's recorded the event and it should be available here! If you get a chance, please check out the Jose Gonzalez in store set that was recorded.
